This collection contains correspondence, membership rosters, financial records, minutes of meetings, as well as the records of three past presidents: William York, George Raney, and John Barta. Also included are records of the state and annual conference meetings. The 1976 meeting focused upon an exchange of letters between William W. Van Alstyne, national AAUP president, and George Bush, director of the Central Intelligence Agency, regarding CIA's covert employment of academic institutions and personnel.
